Discussion Board Guidelines

General Decorum

The Lyme Strategies Board is known as one of the best Lyme Boards on the net.  In fact, it is also one of the best health Boards online as was seen in a recent ranking of yahoo group health boards, where out of millions of them, was ranked #7.

Besides being the definitive group for the Salt/C Plus Protocol, it also purveys an enormous amount of cutting-edge information on an ongoing basis. Its success is also due to the high level of decorum and etiquette, which is testimony to the kind of folks who make up the membership.

Please continue and contribute to the constructiveness, courtesy and respect, both in your own posts and in responding to the posts of others.  It is a wonderful example and provides a safe, positive and productive environment for everyone's benefit and gain.

The Following is the priority or seniority in terms of topics for discussion:

1. The Salt/C Plus Protocol for Lyme Infection.  Unlimited - all questions, experiences, reports, etc. Also, any related data found about the protocol, the items used, personal experimentation that yields positive result.

2. Adjunct Supplements, herbs, colloidal silver, etc.  Those items that assist the protocol and/or address co-infection or toxic type elements more directly so as to "help shorten the overall runway". However, such discussion would be subordinate to S/C discussion.

4. Other Protocols.  Other protocols may be cited, however, these are likewsie subordinate to S/C discussion.  Moreover, any protocol or personal assertion that counters, alters, advises against, conflicts with, etc., the S/C+ Protocol - unless otherwise cleared by the moderator - is inappropriate and off-topic for this board.

Posting Format

1.  Any message that does not directly deal with Salt/C must have "Non-SC:" in the Subject Line before the Title or subject of the post.

Examples:
"Non-S/C:  Where can I find Neem?"
"Non-S/C:  Colloidal Silver generator source"
"Non-S/C:  Epsom Salt Baths"

This will allow anyone just seeking discussion on the Board's main subject, the salt & C protocol, to be able to quickly separate the S/C from Non-S/C posts, especially those receiving digests as well as newbies.

Subject Morphing

As anyone who has seen any discussion board knows, initial subjects always morph into something else.  Amend the subject line when a new item of subject of the post is entered into the thread.

Example:
Initial post:  "Heart palps - is this a herx?"
To:  "Heart palps...magnesium" (amended to new topic)
To:  "Heart palps...cream of tartar" (amends to new topic)
and so on.

Text Trimming

Do not perpetuate lines and lines of another person's post in a reply.  Just delete all but the exact points or lines a person is responding to, or simply respond without any of the previous post.  The extra text, footers, and so on is unnecessary and unwieldy and bogs down the board space and digests.

Restrictions

Where violations of the Discussion Board Guidelines occur and as adjudicated by the Moderator, any member may be subject to the following restrictions in order of gradient severity:

1.  Type A Restriction:  member is prohibited from post on a particular subject or issue as determined by the Moderator.  Non-compliance can result in any of the following restriction application:

2.  Type B Restriction:  member loses posting privileges.  May read posts and material but cannot post.

3.  Type C Restriction:  member loses access to the forum indefinitely

4.  Type D Restriction:  member barred permanently
